Overview
The 2024 Edition will include the categories:
• U19 Male (Advanced U17 male riders may upgrade to this race)
• U19 Female (Advanced U17 female riders may upgrade to this race)
• A Mixed Gender: developing U17, Top U15 and new U19
• B Mixed Gender: new U17, U15, new U15, U13 (U13 Must be age 12 as of Dec. 31, 2024)
Notes:
• Riders may request category change at rider registration/race number pickup (May 23rd, 5PM)
• Riders may change category after TT (no penalty for GC)
• Riders may change category after Area 27 RR (riders moving up or down will not be eligible for GC)
• Organizer reserves the right to adjust categories if registration per category warrants
• There will be podiums and results per gender for A and B Categories
• Out-of-province riders with non-UCI licenses may register but must purchase race day insurance at event registration/number pickup.
• The Criterium and final Road Race now double as the BC Championships for U17 & U19 riders. U17 riders must race in the U19 category for the U17 BC Championships.

Registration is now open on Zone4. At the same time, the event website will also have details on preferred accommodations, categories, race fees, etc. Banquet tickets are included as part of registration for participants. Family and race support are welcome too, and can purchase banquet tickets through Zone 4. See who's registered.

Accommodation in Penticton
We have negotiated a special rate for the 4 motels listed below. These are older motels with some updates. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Quote Hayman Classic 2024 to receive the discount rate. This offer ends April 24th, or when fully booked.
Bowmont: This motel is just meters from the lakeshore and centrally located. There are multiple room configurations, most with kitchenettes. $99 for one queen bed and kitchenette.
Spanish Villa: Similar quality motel to Bowmont, and approx. 1km apart. $82 for one queen bed and kitchenette.
Shoreline: More dated rooms. Closer to Bowmont. $82 for one queen bed and kitchenette.
Alternatives:
Kettle Valley Beach Resort: Nicely refurbished classic motel. Close to other race motels. Call 1-866-447-9610 and mention Hayman to receive 20% discount.
Tourism Penticton: A good resource of other accommodation and activities.

Air Travel Options: Teams and riders requesting transportation from either Penticton or Kelowna airport to Penticton accommodation should contact info@haymanclassic.com. Recommended arrivals: May 22nd afternoon or May 23rd before 2pm. Departure: May 26th after 4pm (3pm Penticton), or May 27th.
Vancouver to Penticton: Serviced by several daily turboprop flights: Pacific Coastal and Air Canada
Calgary to Penticton: Daily service with turboprop flights: West Jet
Kelowna: The airport is 75kms from Penticton. This is a central hub for the southern interior, with many daily flights from across Canada.
